You're Fabulous

Hello everyone, it's Merlina here sharing a card with one layer technique.
Here are some steps to make this card :
1. Prepare cardstock, colored-image, and stencil you want to use. For this card, I used image from Winter-fairies stamp, Fancy-frame-dies, and Sorted-shapes-1-stencil
2. Pick up ink from Distress Oxide Pad using a sponge or a foam blending tool. Working in circular motions, apply ink to the surface, blending the inks as you go. I used Distress-oxide-cracked-pistachio and Distress-oxide-worn-lipstick for this card.
3. Add a sentiment on it. I used Tiny-sentiments for this card.
4. Finally, add a colored-image on it.

Just a simple card, firstly I play with watercolor splash for background, and then stamp "Merry Christmas" several times with grey ink, and then add the "Wishing" die cut on it.

You're Pawsome

Hello everyone,
It's Merlina here, just stopping by to share a card with mirror-stamping techniques.

These are some steps to make reverse-image :
Ink up the stamp and stamp it onto an acrylic block (if you use a stamp positioner, you can repeat 2 or 3 times onto an acetate to make the image sharper)
Then, stamp the block onto a piece of paper.

As there are so many mirror stamping techniques, and I think not all images can be made to reverse-image, there are some tips to consider :
- The reverse-image will be a second generation stamped image, so the ink will be lighter than the original, so it will be better for reflection and shadow.
- You can stamp the second generation image with any media, such as plain rubber stamp, acrylic block, or acetate, however a stamp positioner will be more helpful to transfer image easier, as you can stamp several time onto the same positon.
- Slow drying ink will also help to transfer image

You're Awesome

Hello everyone !!!
Here is Merlina from Craftin' Desert Divas Design Team.
Today I want to share a simple card showcasing Ladybug garden stamp set.
I really fall in love with this stamps, the images are pretty cute.
First, I colored up the image with Distress Ink markers.

Use stencil to make the beehive. And the last, to decorate,

Our Friendship is the Best Adventure

Hi everyone, it's Merlina here with a card to share.
Today I made a waterfall card, featuring Get Wild Stamp Set

Firstly, cut the base of the card with Hip-hip-hooray-paper-pad, and also 4 small pieces for the images (the green and yellow) using Fancy-frame-dies.
Then cut a strip (orange) for waterfall effect  2"x9", score at 2", 2,75", 3,5", and 4,25" and make it like the picture below :

Then prepare the images and paste on the 4 small pieces.
Put the first piece to the bottom, then the second one, and do for the rest.
Put ribbon to make it easy when you pull the card.
